حذر الدكتور عبدالمنعم عبيد، عضو لجنة «الحق فى الصحة» بالمجالس القومية المتخصصة، أستاذ التخدير بطب القاهرة، من تنامى انتشار مرض الالتهاب الكبدى الوبائى «سى» و«بى» وهو ما يطلق عليه «الإيدز الأصفر»، كاشفا عن وجود نوع جديد من هذا المرض خلال الفترة القادمة فى مصر هو «المختلط سى وبى معا»،

وتهكم عضو المجالس المتخصصة على فكرة زراعة الأعضاء، متسائلا: «إذا كانت مصر لا تستطيع زراعة الذرة، فكيف تفكر فى زراعة الأعضاء».
The council member mocked the idea of specialized organs, wondering: «If Egypt can not cultivation of maize, considering how organs».
على جانب آخر، عرض هانى سراج، منسق السكرتارية العالمية لحركة صحة الشعوب، تقريرى «مراقبة الصحة العالمية»، و«تمويل الصحة»، وتضمن التقرير الأخير أن المصريين «ينفقون من موازنتهم ما يقرب من ٦٤% من التكلفة الإجمالية للصحة فى مصر، حتى نسبة الـ٣٠% التى تنفقها الدولة هى نتاج ضرائب المواطنين، فى حين أن القطاع الخاص لا يساهم إلا بدعم ٦% فقط من التكلفة».
