[FONT=arial (arabic)]وأشار الوزير الي ان عدد حالات الاصابة بلغت منذ ظهور المرض في‏2006‏ حتي الآن‏76‏ حالة في‏29‏ محافظة‏,‏ وتم شفاء‏46‏ حالة وبلغ عدد الوفيات‏27‏ حالة ويوجد‏3‏ حالات تحت العلاج وحالتهم مستقرة وبلغ عدد المصابين من الأطفال‏22‏ حالة من اجمالي‏25‏ حالة ظهرت خلال العام الماضي‏2009‏ بنسبة‏88%.‏[/FONT]​

أكد اللواء محمد عبدالسلام المحجوب وزير التنمية المحلية‏-‏ خلال الاجتماع‏-‏ أن اللجنة العليا لمكافحة إنفلونزا الطيور قررت غلق المزارع التي تظهر فيها بؤر مرضية وإعدام كل ما بها من دواجن وعدم منحها تراخيص مرة اخري إلا بعد التأكد من تطهيرها بشكل كامل‏.‏​

Maj. Gen. Mohammed Abdel Salam Mahgoub, Minister of Local Development - During the meeting - that the Supreme Committee to Combat Bird flu has decided to close the farm, which show satisfactory execution of the hotbeds of everything from poultry, not to grant licenses again only after confirmation of cleared completely.

وأشار المحجوب الي اتفاق اللجنة علي قيام المحافظات بتكثيف ومتابعة ما تقوم به مديريات الطب البيطري ومحاسبة المخالفين بحزم‏,‏ إلي جانب قيام المحافظات بالتنسيق مع الامن بالتشديد علي عدم التداول بين المحافظات وإحالة السيارات المخالفة الي النيابة العامة واعدام ما بها من شحنات دواجن‏.‏​

He pointed to the governor by the agreement of the provinces and to intensify the follow-up to what is being done by the departments of veterinary medicine and to hold offenders firmly, and with the provinces in coordination with the security emphasis on non-trading between the provinces and the transfer of vehicles contrary to the prosecution and the execution of poultry shipments.

وأكد اللواء محمد عبدالسلام أنه تم الاتفاق علي منهجية عمل في مجال مكافحة إنفلونزا الطيور علي مستوي المحافظات خلال الفترة المقبلة ممثلة في عدد من الضوابط والنقاط المختلفة أهمها زيادة المتابعة خلال فترات الصيف رغم انحسار المرض في هذه الفترات‏.‏​

This came during a meeting of the Supreme National Committee to combat avian influenza, which was held chaired by the governor last night, where he discussed the developments of bird flu and the government's effort to confront this disease and how to activate the efforts to combat it in order to eliminate it altogether. The governor pointed out that observed from the previous accumulated experience over the past three years and a relaxation during the periods preceding the summer due to the decline of the disease during that period, while over in winter, which invited the Commission to tighten up to the work of all parties to continue the follow-up and serious, especially in the summer.
