طالب الاتحاد المصرى لجمعيات الرفق بالحيوان ورعاية الحيوان، الدكتور أحمد نظيف، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، بالتدخل لوقف ?الممارسات العنيفة?، التى تقوم بها محافظة أسوان للتخلص من الكلاب الضالة بطرق قال إنها ?تتنافى مع المعايير الدولية للحد من تزايدها?، متهماً اللواء مصطفى السيد محافظ أسوان بالمسؤولية الكاملة عن إعدام أكثر من ٤ آلاف و٦٥٢ كلباً خلال الشهرين الماضيين رمياً بالرصاص.

وأكد أحمد الشربينى رئيس الاتحاد فى مذكرة عاجلة لمجلس الوزراء، أن قتل الكلاب بهذه الطرق ?الوحشية وغير الإنسانية? لن يقضى على ظاهرة انتشار الكلاب الضالة، كما أنها طريقة تضر بالسياحة القادمة إلى مصر.

He said: ?The tourists can not admit that this means compassionate, because they were lovers of animals on an equal footing with the Egyptians as the Humane Society of Tabaiahm?. واعتبر الشربينى أن قرارات المحافظ ?تهدم السياحة? فى منطقة مصرية تستمد شهرتها من تفردها السياحى وكونها مقصداً للسائحين، مؤكداً أنها قرارات تسبب ?الإضرار العمدى? بالسياحة.

وتساءل: ?ألا يكفى ما يلقاه المسلمون والعرب من اتهامات توجه لهم، ونحن منهم، بأننا لا نعرف إلا لغة العنف والقتل؟!?، مضيفاً: ألا يجب أن تعطى محافظة سياحية مثالاً على التعامل الإنسانى مع الحيوانات حتى نعطى صورة أفضل للسائحين، خاصة أنهم خير دعاية لنا فى الخارج؟!

وهدد اتحاد الرفق بالحيوان محافظ أسوان باللجوء إلى القضاء، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة لوقف هذه الممارسات السلبية، على حد ما جاء فى مذكرة الاتحاد، المقدمة لمجلس الوزراء.

The union threatened Humane Aswan Governor resort to the judiciary, and to take necessary legal action to stop these negative practices, to some extent, according to the memorandum, submitted to the Council of Ministers.
