with and Egyptian person, most likely they were forced into quarantine by law using the local police as escorts. and they wont be released until a doctor gives them a clean bill of health. from what I'm hearing all the hospitals have police personnel guarding the closed wards or floors which are being used for flu patents.

Interesting, Menoufia is where we had a whole village quarrantined.
And we also had a suspected Swine Flu case there. From my list:

إجراءات وقائية لمنع انتشار أنفلونزا الخنازير فى مصر
الغربية ـ هند عادل


احتجز مستشفى حميات المحلة حالتين جديدتين للاشتباه فى إصابتهما بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير لطفلين قادمين من السعودية. جاء ذلك بعد ظهور أعراض المرض عليهما وشعورهما بارتفاع شديد فى درجة الحرارة، خاصة وأنهما قادمان من السعودية، التى تنتشر بها أعداد الإصابة بالمرض وتعد من الدول الموبوءة.

وتم احتجاز الطفلين فى الأماكن المخصصة لمثل هذه الحالات، وأخذ عينة دم ومسحة حلق وإرسالها للمعامل المركزية الخاصة بوزارة الصحة، لبيان مدى إصابتهما بالمرض من عدمه، وتم إعطاؤهم عقار التايمفلو لحين ورورد نتيجة العينات الخاصة بهم، وهو ما صرح به الدكتور عصام عثمان مدير إدارة الطب الوقائى بمديرية الصحة بالغربية.

احتجز مستشفى حميات المحلة حالتين جديدتين للاشتباه فى إصابتهما بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وتم حجزهما بالأماكن المخصصة لذلك بعد ظهور أعراض المرض عليهما.

حيث تم احتجاز كل من ساهر عبد الوهاب الشيخ (10 سنوات) قادم من أسوان وأحمد نصر عبد الله أبوريا (18 سنة) من ميت السراج مركز المحلة عامل أحذية قادم من الغردقة.

تم أخذ عينة دم ومسحة حلق وإرسالها للمعامل المركزية الخاصة بوزارة الصحة، وإعطاؤهم عقار التاميفلو لحين التأكد من مدى إصابتهم بالمرض من عدمه.

صرح بذلك الدكتور عصام عثمان مدير إدارة الطب الوقائى بمديرية الصحة بالغربية.

احتجز مستشفى المنشاوى العام، بالغربية حالة جديدة لمواطن قادم من أمريكا للاشتباه فى إصابته بأنفلونزا الخنازير، بعد ظهور أعراض المرض عليه وارتفاع درجة حرارته، خاصة وأنه قادم من منطقة ترتفع فيها أعداد الإصابة بالمرض.

تم احتجاز المواطن هانى حسين عبد المقصود (33 سنة) مقيم بمنطقة الصاغة بأول طنطا، فى مستشفى المنشاوى العام، وتم عزله بالأماكن المخصصة لذلك، وأخذ مسحة حلق وعينة دم وإرسالهم للمعامل المركزية، لبيان مدى إصابته بالمرض من عدمه وإعطائه عقار "التايمفلو" لحين ورود نتيجة العينة الخاصة به.

كما احتجز مستشفى حميات طنطا ثلاث حالات جديدة للاشتباه فى إصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور بعد ظهور أعراض المرض عليهم، وهم سماح التهامى عبد الشافى (26 سنة) ربة منزل، من قرية ميت بدر حلاوة، وكريم محمد فرج جبر من عزبة طريق دمرو، مركز المحلة عام، والعربى عبد العال (47 سنة) من قرية شونى مركز طنطا.

The citizen was detained Hani Hussein Abdel-Maksoud (33 years) resident in the first chapel of Tanta, in the General Hospital, explained, and was assigned to isolated places, the hours and the taking of swab and blood sample and sent to central laboratories, the extent of his illness or not and give the property "Altaymflo" pending receipt of sample of its own.

The hospital admitted Tanta detained three new cases of suspected bird flu patients after the emergence of symptoms, and they allow Tuhami Abdel Shafi (26 years old), housewife, from the village of Mit Badr Halawa, Karim Mohamed Farag reparation through Izbat Dmro Center in Mahalla , and Abdel-Al-Arab (47 years) from the village of Tanta Shuni Center.

Have noticed the jump in sf suspect cases and a big decline in bird flu suspect cases...on another note, at night time you can see the fog come right down to the ground its been that way the last four days.guess the egyptian flu stains dont mind the wet.

احتجز مستشفى سوهاج العام حالة اشتباه جديدة بأنفلونزا الخنازير لرجل كان عائدا من السعودية بعد فترة عمل، وكان الدكتور محمد عبد العال وكيل وزارة الصحة قد تلقى إشارة من الدكتور على خيرى حراز مدير مستشفى سوهاج العام، تفيد بوصول شخص يدعى عبد الجابر محمد السيد (40 سنة) عامل، ومقيم بنجع النجار مركز سوهاج، ظهرت عليه أعراض إصابته بأنفلونزا الخنازير، وتم أخذ عينات مسح من الفم وإرسالها إلى المعامل المركزية بالقاهرة، وعزل الحالة بالمكان المخصص للإصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير بالمستشفى.

من ناحية أخرى، أكد المريض أنه يعمل بالسعودية، وحضر إلى سوهاج فى إجازة منذ ثلاثة أيام، شعر بعدها بآلام بالرأس وارتفاع درجة الحرارة وضيق فى التنفس، وذهبت إلى أحد الأطباء بعيادته الخاصة، وأرشدنى للذهاب إلى مستشفى سوهاج العام، وبالفعل توجهت إليها، وتم حجزى، وإعطائى الدواء المناسب.
