Egypt surveillance of avian influenza through satellites

The "last Pharaoh" independent sector, the natural reserves of the Ministry of Environment decided to use this advanced system for monitoring the disease, which carried by migratory birds that come to the natural reserves in Egypt
The paper quoted the Egyptian Minister of Environment Maged George said that the development of organs Seetmk minutes in 45 feet of a bird, and follow-up satellite.
George added that Egypt is the fourth in the world that use this system after China, Nigeria and Kenya.
He pointed out that the natural reserves of the system is applied in cooperation with the Organization of American geological research and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Egyptian newspaper reported on Monday that the Ministry of Environment decided to use satellites to monitor bird flu.
وأوضحت صحيفة "المصري اليوم" المستقلة، أن قطاع المحميات الطبيعية في وزارة البيئة قرّر استخدام هذا النظام المتطوّر لرصد المرض الذي تحمله الطيور المهاجرة التي تأتي الى المحميات الطبيعية في مصر.

وأشارت الى أن هذه الطريقة تعتمد على وضع أجهزة دقيقة على الطيور المهاجرة ومتابعتها باستخدام الأقمار الصناعية في أي مكان في العالم وتتبع مسارات الهجرة الخاصة بها، حتى يمكن معرفة مدى قربها أو بعدها عن بؤر الإصابات بالمرض

She pointed out that this method relies on the development of precision machines for migratory birds and follow-up of the use of satellites anywhere in the world and track their migration routes, in order to know the extent of its proximity or remoteness from the sources of infections disease. .
ونقلت الصحيفة عن وزير البيئة المصري ماجد جورج قوله إنه سيتمك وضع أجهزة دقيقة في أقدام 45 طائراً ومتابعتها بالأقمار الصناعية.

وأضاف جورج أن مصر هي الدولة الرابعة على مستوى العالم التي تستخدم هذا النظام بعد الصين ونيجيريا وكينيا.
