A fire broke out at a poultry farm in the Quda’a al-Gharbia region, in the village of Bar Bahri, affiliated to the Burullus Center in Kafr El-Sheikh, today, Thursday, next to the fish farming drainage station in the village, which led to the death of thousands of chicks.
The Operations and Crisis Management Room of the General Court of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate had received a signal of a fire in a poultry farm in the Western Quda’a area, next to the fish farming drainage station in the village of Bar Bahri, affiliated to the Burullus Center.
The civil defense vehicle moved to the site of the fire with the help of the people, and the fire was extinguished, with the follow-up of Major General Omar Al-Fedawy, Head of the Baltim Center and City, according to the directives of Major General Jamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh.
According to the inventory of the operations room of the local unit of Baltim Center and City, the fire resulted in the death of 8 thousand chicks, 10 days old, while it was found that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit
