احتجز مستشفى سوهاج العام اليوم، الأربعاء، طالب فى الفرقة الرابعة بكلية الشرطة للاشتباه فى إصابته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير أثناء قيامه بإجازة بمحل أقامته بسوهاج. صرح بذلك الدكتور على خيرى حراز مدير مستشفى سوهاج العام والذى أشار إلى أن الطالب يدعى "هـ.ح.ك.20 عاما" طالب بالفرقة الرابعة بكلية الشرطة، وأنه حضر إلى المستشفى بعد ظهور أعراض المرض من ارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة وصعوبة فى التنفس بمنزله أثناء حضوره لقضاء إجازة من كلية الشرطة. تم احتجاز الطالب بقسم العزل بالمستشفى وتم إعطاؤه عقار التاميفلو وتم أخذ عينة بشرية وإرسالها للمعامل المركزية بالقاهرة لتحديد مدى إيجابية إصابته من سلبيتها. وعلى جانب آخر، تم إغلاق فصل بالمدرسة الإعدادية بجهينة بعد ظهور حالة إيجابية للطالب فتحى أحمد عوض 15 عاما، كما تم رصد حالات اشتباه إصابة جديدة وهى جيهان خلف فانوس 27 عاما ربة منزل ومقيمة طما ومحمود خلف على 10 سنوات تلميذ ومقيم مركز سوهاج وبهذا يرتفع عدد حالات الإصابة والاشتباه إلى 288 حالة منذ ظهور المرض بمحافظة سوهاج ووفاة حالتين حتى الآن.
