أكدت تحاليل معامل وزارة الصحة إيجابية عينات حالتين مصابتين بأنفلونزا الخنازير من بين الحالات المحتجزة بمستشفى مطروح العام للإشتباه فى أصابتها بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير. حيث جاءت العينة الأولى الخاصة بالمريض "ج. ن. م" (27 سنة) من قرية أم الرَخم إيجابية قبل وفاته بنصف ساعة، وكانت العينات قد سحبت منه قبل 4 أيام لإرسالها إلى معامل وزارة الصحة بالإسكندرية. وفى بورسعيد أعلن الدكتور عادل ترك، مدير الطب الوقائى بمديرية الصحة ببورسعيد، عن وفاة إبراهيم مسعد إبراهيم شجاع (50 سنة) تاجر متأثرا بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير إثر فشل فى عضلة القلب والجهاز التنفسى، مضيفا أن الحالة تم حجزها بمستشفى بورسعيد العام منذ31 ديسمبر الماضى، حيث كان يعانى من ارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة والآم بالحلق وضيق بالجهاز التنفسى والتهاب رئوى، وتم حجزه بقسم العناية المركزة مدة 8 أيام بعد أن أكدت تحاليل وزارة الصحة إصابته بالفيروس وتوفى اليوم.
