توقعت مصادر بوزارة الصحة ارتفاع عدد الإصابات والوفيات متأثرة بفيروس (AH١N١) المعروف بأنفلونزا الخنازير، خلال شهر ديسمبر الجارى، وأكدت أن الإصابات ستصل إلى ٤ أو ٥ أضعاف العدد المكتشف خلال شهرى نوفمبر وأكتوبر الماضيين، أى ما يبلغ فى المتوسط نحو ٣٠٠٠ حالة، أى ١٠٠ حالة على الأقل يومياً.
