قرر الدكتور أحمد ضياء الدين، محافظ المنيا، إجراء تحقيق فوري في وفاة أحمد محمود فاروق (17 سنة)، الطالب بالمدرسة الثانوية العسكرية بنين بمدينة المنيا بمرض إنفلونزا الخنازير، وذلك بعد أن كشفت التقارير قيام ولى أمر الطالب بعرضه على طبيبين معالجين قبل الوفاة مع مقارنة بيانات العلاج والمستندات الصادرة من الأطباء والإجراءات التي تم اتخاذها مع حالة الطالب. Decided, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed, governor of Minya, an immediate investigation into the death of Ahmed Mahmoud Farouk (17 years), high school student of military Benin Upper Egyptian city of swine flu, and after reports revealed the student's guardian submitting it to the two doctors, therapists prior to death with a comparison treatment data and documents issued by the doctors and procedures that have been taken with the case of the student.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع اللجنة العليا لإنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير بحضور السكرتير العام ووكيل وزارة الصحة وجميع الأجهزة المختصة. This came during a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Avian and swine in the presence of Secretary-General and the Under-Secretary, Ministry of Health and all the competent bodies.
وكلف المحافظ وكيل وزارة الصحة بالتنسيق مع وكيل وزارة التربية والتعليم لرفع الوعي لدى جميع العاملين بالمدارس، وكذلك التلاميذ عن مرضي إنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير، وكيفية التعامل معهما مع تقديم تقرير تفصيلي يوميا عن الموقف الوبائي داخل المحافظة، موضحا به أي حالات اشتباه أو إصابة والإجراءات التي تم اتخاذها والاحتياطات الصحية. Assigned to the governor and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in coordination with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education to raise awareness among all school staff, as well as students of bird flu patients and pigs, and how to deal with them with a detailed report daily on the epidemic situation in the province, stating any cases of suspected or injury and actions that have been taken and health precautions.
وخلال الاجتماع أوضح الدكتور عادل أبو زيد، وكيل وزارة الصحة في تقريره، عن الموقف الحالي لمرض إنفلونزا الخنازير منذ بدء فصل الشتاء وحتى الآن أن عدد الحالات الايجابية بلغ 34 حالة، منها 3 حالات وفاة، بينما تم شفاء باقي الحالات، مشيرا إلى أن من بين الحالات الايجابية 3 طلاب بالمدارس وطالب بالجامعة. During the meeting, Dr. Adel Abu-Zeid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in his report, for the current situation of the disease, swine influenza since the start of winter and so far that the number of positive cases was 34 cases, including 3 deaths, while it was healing the rest of the cases, pointing out that among the positive cases, 3 students in school and university students.
