Egypt - Ministry of Health: Covid-19 Cases - 100,228 cases, 5,560 deaths

A new high in daily deaths


The number of cases whose laboratory results have been transformed from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) in Egypt has increased to 9,216.​

Today, Friday, June 5, 2020, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the exit of 402 injured people Coronavirus coronary virus emerging "Covid-19" from the isolation and quarantine hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those who have recovered from the virus to 8,158 cases until today.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, adviser to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been converted from​
He added that 1348 new cases, which proved positive for​
laboratory analyzes of the Corona virus (Covid-19) , were registered as part of the ministry's surveillance and investigation procedures, according to WHO guidelines, pointing to the death of 40 new cases.​
He added that the governorates that recorded the highest rates of infection ​
are: Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia, while the governorates of the “Red Sea, Matruh and South Sinai” recorded the lowest rates of HIV infections, appealing to citizens to adhere to preventive and preventive measures and follow social measures of separation, especially In provinces with high infection rates.​
"Mujahid" stated that the total number registered in Egypt ​
as of Friday, is 31,115 cases, including 8,158 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 1,166 deaths.​
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the emerging Corona virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases​
