أعلنت غرفة المتابعة لمرض الأنفلونزا المستجدة بمحافظة الإسكندرية عن إصابة حالتين لليوم الأحد لكل من طبيبة بقسم الطوارئ بالمستشفى الأميرى الجامعى والثانية لطالبة بكلية الآداب المستوى الثانى قسم الاجتماع جامعة الإسكندرية وهى شقيقة الحالة الإيجابية لمهندس نظم كان قادما إلى الإسكندرية من دولة الكويت، وجميع الحالات تم احتجازهم بمستشفى الحميات تحت العلاج.
كما أعلنت الغرفة ووفق التقارير الرسمية الواردة من مديرية الصحة عن شفاء 3 حالات وخروجها من مستشفى الحميات الإسكندرية، وهم لمعيدة بكلية التجارة جامعة الإسكندرية وطالب بمدرسة رشدى الإعدادية وطفلة تبلغ من العمر عامين بالهانوفيل العجمى، والتى سبق وأعلنت عنهم غرفة المتابعة.
