أعلن الدكتور حاتم الجبلى، وزير الصحة، عدم اللجوء إلى تعليق الدراسة بسبب فيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير، مؤكداً تحوره، لافتاً إلى أن هذا التحور من سمات الفيروس نفسه، قائلا إنه فيروس دائم التحور تتغير تركيبته الجنية كل فترة، مؤكداً أن مصر تمر حاليا بذروة انتشار فيروس الأنفلونزا فى الفترة من منتصف نوفمبر حتى آخر ديسمبر. كانت وزارة الصحة أعلنت وصول عدد حالات الوفاة جراء الإصابة بفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير إلى 30 حالة منذ أكتوبر الماضى حتى الآن، كما بلغ إجمالى الحالات المصابة خلال الفترة من أكتوبر 2010 حتى الآن ( 533) حالة منهم (30) وفاة مقارنة بعدد ( 10599) حالة منهم (134) حالة وفاة، خلال نفس الفترة من أكتوبر حتى ديسمبر 2009 . The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of the number of deaths due to infection with swine influenza to 30 cases since last October so far, and total infected cases during the period from October 2010 until now (533) of them (30) and death compared to the number (10 599), of them (134) death, during the same period from October to December 2009.
وشدد الوزير على الالتزام بقواعد النظافة الشخصية مع ضرورة طلب المشورة الطبية، خصوصا للأطفال وكبار السن والسيدات الحوامل، ومن لديهم أمراض مزمنة ( أمراض الصدر والقلب ? أمراض الكلى ? أمراض الكبد ? داء السكر). The Minister stressed the commitment to the rules of personal hygiene with the need to seek medical advice, especially for children, the elderly, pregnant women and those who have chronic diseases (diseases of the chest and heart - kidney disease - liver disease - diabetes).
لافتاً إلى توفر عقار التاميفلو المخصص لعلاج الأنفلونزا المتحورة بنوعيها الطيور والخنازير بالمجان بمستشفيات وزارة الصحة، وكذلك متاح فى بعض الصيدليات الخاصة، مؤكداً أن مصر لديها مخزن إستراتيجى منه، يصل إلى 10 ملايين قرص. He pointed to the availability of the drug Tamiflu to treat influenza custom mutated two types of birds and pigs hosting the Ministry of Health and Hospitals, as well as some available in private pharmacies, adding that Egypt has a strategic store of it, up to 10 million tablets.
