نفى الدكتور حاتم الجبلى وزير الصحة عدم تحور فيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير، مؤكداً أن منظمة الصحة العالمية صنفت المرض على أنه مرض موسمى، وضرب الجبلى مثالاً على ذلك بأن المصابين بالمرض العام الماضى كانوا من الشباب، إنما العام الحالى فأغلبهم من كبار السن ضعيفى المناعة.
