Controlling a fire in a poultry farm in Ismailia, without causing any human injuries
Farm fire today
A massive fire broke out in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, in a poultry farm in the West Qantara Markaz district, in which civil protection moved to the scene of the fire and it was brought under control without causing any casualties.
Major General Mahmoud Ashour, Director of Ismailia Security , received a notification from the Police Rescue, stating that a fire broke out in a poultry farm in Izbat Zagazig, which is affiliated to the village of Al-Rih Markaz and the city of Qantara West, and it was controlled by the Civil Protection.
Eyewitnesses told Al-Watan that they saw flames and thick smoke rising from the farm, so they immediately informed the rescue and civil protection forces.
Sources: No human casualties
Responsible security sources at the Qantara West police station confirmed that there were no human injuries in the accident, while ambulances moved to the scene, indicating that the civil protection men controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring places, and cooling work is still continuing to prevent the fire from recurring again.
The sources confirmed that the poultry losses of the farm are being counted, while the criminal investigation officers moved to try to find out the cause of the fire and ascertain whether or not there was a criminal suspicion.
