أعلنت وزارة الصحة عن اكتشاف إصابة جديدة بأنفلونزا الخنازير لطفل عمره عامان قادم مع والديه من استراليا.
جاءت نتيجة التحليل لعينة الطفل زكريا محمد زكريا (عامان) إيجابية بينما جاءت نتيجة تحاليل والديه "سلبية" وهما محمد زكريا محمد (32 سنة) محاسب، و زوجته هبة محمد فتحى (24 سنة)، المقيمان بقرية سبرباى مركز طنطا بالغربية.
وكانت إدارة الحجر الصحى بمطار القاهرة قد أرسلت بيانا بأسماء 15 حالة قادمة من دول موبوءة، من بينهم أسرة الطفل زكريا، فتم وضعهم تحت الملاحظة الطبية، حيث ظهر على الأسرة أعراض الإصابة بالمرض، فتم حجزهم بمستشفى المنشاوى العام بالغربية، وتم أخذ عينة دم ومسحة حلق منهم، و تم عزل الطفل زكريا محمد زكريا بالمكان المخصص لمثل هذه الحالات، و إعطاؤه عقار التاميفلو.
كما أعلن مستشفى المنشاوى العام وكافة المستشفيات التابعة للقطاعين العام والخاص حالة التأهب والاستعدادات القصوى بالمحافظة لمواجهة انتشار الوباء، وذلك بعد وفاة أول حالة إصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير الأسبوع الماضى، و هى السيدة سماح السيد التى كانت قادمة من المملكة العربية السعودية.
