Egypt announces discovery of the 396 swine flu

The Egyptian Health Ministry said Monday the discovery of 24 new cases of infected pigs in order to increase the incidence of the disease to 396 in the country.

And Dr. Abdel Rahman Shahin, official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and recovery status of the remaining 258 cases in the hospital for treatment, adding to the stability of their health.

Shahin said Tuesday that the detected cases, including 18 Egyptian, 5 from the case of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the case of 12 epidemiologically linked cases and the positive and the other six, including Saudi nationality and 4 were from Jordan, and received appropriate treatment and were in stable condition.

Sahin said: It was examined 49 suspected case of swine flu, and 10 suspected cases of avian influenza and laboratory results were all negative.
