Re: Egypt - H1N1 Returns Totals are increasing.

my son came down with a fever during his morning studys today. He visited the doctor for the school he had a temp of 39.1c they gave him something to drink along with something to reduce the fever they then went thru a check list of symptons with him.

Then they told him he should not return to school until he recovers from the flu he has. the school doctor said it could be either a seasonal flu,h1n1 or bird flu and no testing would be done to determine which it is.

nope nothing, i also tried to buy it from a hospital a week ago.it can only be obtained after confirmed positive testing is done then using a prescrition.

the hospital i was at last week is one of the ones which is used to collect data which is shared with the who.

the hospital said they could not due the test, as in "not allowed" and the docotor said the virus which is currently affecting the eyes is a flu bug!

Re: Egypt - H1N1 Returns Totals are increasing.

It is my guess that the doctor must not suspect bird flu or he would have written a prescription for tamiflu. This is protocol.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thank you for keeping us aware of what is going on.
