شدد الدكتور أحمد ضياء الدين محافظ المنيا على رفع حالة الطوارئ بالمستشفيات لاستقبال أى حالة مصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير، وتوفير المصل اللازم، إضافة إلى التنسيق مع مديرية التربية والتعليم لتوعية الطلاب والمدرسين بأعراض المرض. Stressed Dr. Ahmed Diaa Eddin al-Minya governor to lift the state of emergency hospitals to receive any case of bird flu in pigs, and provide the necessary vaccine, as well as coordination with the Directorate of Education to educate students and teachers with symptoms of the disease.
أعلن الدكتور عادل أبو زيد وكيل وزارة الصحة بالمنيا عن ظهور حالتين مصابتين بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير الأولى لسيدة تبلغ من العمر 49 سنة من مركز دير مواس، والثانية طفلة تبلغ من العمر 12 سنة من مركز ملوى، تم نقلهما لمستشفى الصدر بالعباسية بعد أن أثبتت التحاليل إيجابية العينتين. Dr. Adel Abu-Zeid and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and queens for the emergence of two cases with the deadly bird flu first lady at the age of 49 years from the center of Deir Mawas, and the second child at the age of 12 years from the center of Malwa, was rushed to a hospital in Sadr after tests proved positive samples .
وأشار إلى وجود حالة أخرى يشتبه فى إصابتها بأنفلونزا الطيور لطفلة تبلغ من العمر عاما واحدا من قرية طوة التابعة لمركز المنيا، وقد تم أخذ عينة منها لتحليلها بالمعامل المركزية بالقاهرة.
