أصدر محافظا الجيزة و6 أكتوبر، قراراً بإغلاق مدرسة و15 فصلاً لمدة 15 يوماً بعد اكتشاف 17 إصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير بالمدارس، حيث أصدر المهندس سيد عبد العزيز محافظ الجيزة، قراراً بغلق مدرسة "الدقى الإعدادية" و13 فصلاً بمدارس "التجارية بالمدبح والصديق الابتدائية والنيل الخاصة وأبو بكر الصديق وأم القرى الابتدائية وحسام الدين الخاصة وسفنكس للغات ونجيب محفوظ ونور الإسلام الخاصة والسادات التجريبية والشروق الإعدادية وجمال عبد الناصر وعقبة بن نافع" لمدة 15 يوماً بعد ظهور 15 إصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير.
ومن جانبه أكد الدكتور عبد الحليم البحيرى المفوض الرسمى لإعلان حالات بمحافظة الجيزة، أن إجمالى الحالات 15 حالة تتمثل الأولى لطالب يبلغ 15 سنة مدرسة التجارية بالمدبح التابعة لإدارة جنوب والثنية لطالب يبلغ 14 سنة بمدرسة الدقى التابعة لإدارة الدقى والثالثة لطالب 11 سنة بمدرسة الصديق الابتدائية التابعة لإدارة شمال الجيزة والرابعة لطالب 10 سنوات بمدرسة النيل الخاصة التابعة لإدارة الدقى التعليمية والخامسة لطالب يبلغ 13 سنة بمدرسة أبو الهول الإعدادية التابعة لإدارة جنوب الجيزة.
وكانت الحالة السادسة لطالب 12 سنة بمدرسة أبو بكر التابعة لشمال الجيزة والسابعة لطالب 9 سنوات بمدرسة عقبة ابن نافع والثامنة لطالب 10 سنوات بمدرسة أم القرى الابتدائية "بولاق" والتاسعة لطالب 12 سنة بمدرسة حسام الدين الخاصة "العمرانية" والعاشرة لطالب 12 سنة بمدرسة سفنكس الخاصة "الهرم" والحادية عشرة لطالب 12 سنة بمدرسة نجيب محفوظ "جنوب الجيزة" والثانية عشرة لطالب 11 سنة بمدرسة نور الإسلام الخاصة "الهرم" والثالثة عشر لطالب 11 سنة بمدرسة السادات التجريبية "العمرانية" والرابعة لطالب 13 سنة بمدرسة الشروق الإعدادية "بولاق" والخامسة لطالب 12 سنة بمدرسة جمال عبد الناصر "الدقى".
فى حين أصدر الدكتور فتحى سعد محافظ 6 أكتوبر قراراً بغلق فصلين بمدرستى "الروبة الخاصة" بمدينة 6 أكتوبر ومدرسة "أوسيم الإعدادية" التابعة لإدارة أوسم الإعدادية لمدة 15 يوماً بعد ظهور إصابتين بأنفلونزا الخنازير.
