قرر جمال العربى، وكيل وزارة التربية والتعليم بالقليوبية، إغلاق فصل بمدرسة نور السلام الخاصة بالقناطر الخيرية لمدة أسبوع، وذلك بعد التأكد من إصابة أحد الطلاب بأنفلونزا الخنازير.
وكان الطالب أحمد إسماعيل عبد الدايم الطالب بالصف الأول الثانوى قد تعرض الأسبوع الماضى لارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة، فقامت المدرسة بإعطاء الطالب إجازة من المدرسة وأخطرت مديرية الصحة التى قامت بأخذ عينة من الطالب، وبتحليلها ثبتت إصابة الطالب، وعلى الفور قرر جمال العربى إغلاق الفصل، حسب تعليمات المستشار عدلى حسين محافظ القليوبية، كما قامت مديرية الصحة بالكشف ومتابعة باقى الطلاب بالفصل، وكذلك المخالطين من الأسرة.
وفى محافظة الجيزة أصدر المهندس سيد عبد العزيز، محافظ الجيزة، قرارا بإغلاق فصل بمدرسة "الأورمان الخاصة بالعجوزة لمدة 15 يوما، بعد إصابة طالب بأنفلونزا الخنازير، وأمر عبد العزيز بنقل الطالب المصاب إلى مستشفى حميات إمبابة لتلقى العلاج، فى حين قررت مديرية الصحة بالمحافظة إخضاع طلاب ومعلمى الفصل الذى تم غلقه بمدرسة "الأورمان الخاصة" للكشف الطبى للتأكد من خلوهم من فيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير.
ومن جانبه أكد، محمود العرينى، مدير مديرية التربية والتعليم بالجيزة، أن الحالة الإيجابية التى ظهرت بمدرسة "الأورمان الخاصة" بالعجوزة والتابعة لإدارة العجوزة التعليمية هى لطالب يبلغ من العمر (14 عاما) بالصف الثالث الإعدادى لم يكن مخالطا لحالة إيجابية.
وفى محافظة الغربية فقد أكد أطباء المدارس والزائرات الصحيات أن هناك اشتباها فى إصابة 52 تلميذا من تلاميذ المدارس على مستوى المحافظة بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، حيث تم اكتشاف 7 حالات بطنطا، و12 حالة بأول المحلة، و16 حالة بالمحلة، و5 حالات بمسنود، و3 حالات بالسنطة، وحالتين بقطور، وحالة بأول طنطا وحالة بكفر الزيات.
وقرر على الفور الدكتور شريف حمودة، وكيل وزارة الصحة بالغربية، منح التلاميذ المشتبه فى إصابتهم بالمرض إجازة إجبارية 10 أيام، وعزلهم بمنازلهم، والتنبيه على أسرهم بالتوجه لأقرب مستشفى صدر أو حميات فى حالة ظهور أى أعراض مرضية.
وقامت إدارة الطب الوقائى بفحص المخالطين لهم خشية وجود أى حالات إصابة بينهم أو وجود حالات قادمة من الخارج تحمل فيروس H1N1.
