كشفت نتائج تحاليل المعامل المركزية بوزارة الصحة إيجابية الحالتين اللتين سبق احتجازهما بمستشفى الفيوم العام لمرض الأنفلونزا المستجدة وهما سهام عبد العزيز عبد الرحمن (17 سنة) من مركز أبشواى، والطفل محمود محمد عبد الحليم 6 سنوات من قرية منشاة حلفا بمركز إطسا، وكان قد تم احتجازهما بالمستشفى بعد إصابتهما بارتفاع شديد فى درجة الحرارة.
