صرح د.حاتم الجبلى وزير الصحة أن فترة توفيق الأوضاع ممتدة حتى 7 يونيو 2011 وأكد أنه لن يتم غلق أية منشأة طبية بسبب توفيق الأوضاع، وأوضح فى نفس الوقت ضرورة استكمال التجهيزات اللازمة فى المستشفيات والمراكز الطبيبة حتى لا يحدث تهاون أو تقصير فيما يختص بصحة المرضى.
جاء هذا فى خطاب رسمى وجهه وزير الصحة للنقابة العامة للأطباء ردا على خطابها بشأن إيجاد حلول للمشكلات التى تواجه المهنة والأطباء.
وأكد الوزير اهتمام الوزارة باتخاذ خطوات هامة وجادة نحو تطوير وتحديث مهارات الأطباء، وقيام الوزارة بالتعاون مع وزارة المالية لتحسين دخول الأطباء لمواجهة الأعباء المعيشية.
