Dr. Hamdi Hassan, called the Assistant Secretary-General of the parliamentary bloc of the Muslim Brotherhood that the Government was cooperating fully with the bird flu control; after the arrival of the martyrs of the number of patients with avian influenza virus to 66 people, five of them only during a single month.

He pointed out that it is alarming in this disaster is the government's inability so far as the transfer of pig farms from the center of the populated areas to remote areas of safety; especially after making sure that the pig is one of the main reasons for the disaster, the virus will mutate to spread between humans.
He said: "We are not asking for the execution of the seriousness of the pigs was also killed millions of birds - and this is the right of the danger - but we call for the transfer of environmentally safe and healthy, and if the Government felt that the critical pork linked to the Christian brothers, the virus will not differentiate between Christian or Muslim, not even the Jews" .

طالب الدكتور حمدي حسن الأمين العام المساعد للكتلة البرلمانية للإخوان المسلمين الحكومة بأن تتعامل بكل جدية مع مرض إنفلونزا الطيور ومكافحته؛ بعد وصول عدد شهداء مرضى إنفلونزا الطيور إلى 66 شهيدًا منهم خمسة فقط خلال شهر واحد.
ووصف ارتفاع الشهداء إلى هذا الحد في بيان عاجل وجه إلى د. أحمد نظيف رئيس مجلس الوزراء ود. حاتم الجبلي بأنه ينذر بكارثة محققة، إذا استمر المعدل كما هو عليه حاليًا، قائلاً: "نحن في غنى عن مصاعب أو مصائب تؤثر سلبًا، وتضاف على اقتصادنا القومي المنهك والعليل".
وطالب بتوضيح تصريح وزير الصحة الذي أكد فيه وجود خطط كافية لمواجهة المرض في حالة وقوع كارثة عامة نتيجة تحور الفيروس لتكون العدوى من بشر لبشر، والتي ستكون في حالة حدوثها كارثة- لا قدر الله- لا يعلم مدى تأثيرها إلا الله وحده.
وتساءل: إذا كان توفير "التاميفلو" فقط هو ما يقصده الوزير فتلك مصيبة؛ لأنه وقتها سيتم وضع مصر كلها تحت الحجر الصحي، وسيتم عزلها عن العالم كله سياحة وتجارة ومعاملات، ولا أدري هل تعي الحكومة ذلك؟ وهل أعدت خططها لذلك أم لا؟!.
وأوضح أن الأمر المفزع في هذه الكارثة هو عجز الحكومة حتى الآن عن نقل حظائر الخنازير من وسط الأماكن المأهولة بالسكان إلى مناطق بعيدة آمنة؛ وخاصةً بعد التأكد من أن الخنزير هو أحد الأسباب الرئيسة لكارثة تحور الفيروس لينتقل بين البشر.
وقال: "نحن لا نطالب بإعدام الخنازير لخطورتها كما تم إعدام ملايين الطيور- وهذا حق لخطورتها- بل نطالب بنقلها لمناطق آمنة بيئيًّا وصحيًّا، وإذا كانت الحكومة تستشعر الحرج من كون الخنزير مرتبط بالإخوة المسيحيين فإن الفيروس لن يفرق بين مسيحي أو مسلم ولا حتى يهودي".
