أعلنت وزارة الصحة عن الإصابة البشرية رقم 112 بأنفلونزا الطيور، وذلك منذ ظهور المرض فى مصر وحتى الآن لسيدة من محافظة القليوبية وحالتها الصحية حرجة. The Ministry of Health No. 112 of human infection with bird flu, since the disease appeared in Egypt and even now a woman from Qaloubiyah province, and her health is critical.

وأوضح بيان صادر عن وزارة الصحة اليوم الأربعاء أن الإصابة الجديدة لسيدة من محافظة القليوبية تبلغ من العمر 33 عاما، ودخلت أحد مستشفيات القاهرة أمس، وهى تعانى من ارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة وكحة وصعوبة بالتنفس ، وذلك عقب تعرضها لطيور يشتبه فى إصابتها بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور. A statement issued by the Ministry of Health said Wednesday that new infection of a woman from Qaloubiyah province, at the age of 33 years, and entered a hospital in Cairo yesterday, suffering from high fever, cough and difficulty breathing, following exposure to birds suspected of being infected with bird flu.

وأشار البيان إلى أنه تم إعطاء السيدة عقار " التاميفلو " على الفور ، وحالتها الصحية حرجة ومازالت تتلقى العلاج فى المستشفى. The statement pointed out it was given Ms. drug "Tamiflu" on the spot, and her health is critical and is still receiving treatment in hospital.

ونقلت وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط المصرية اليوم الاربعاء عن بيان للوزارة أن الإصابة البشرية الجديدة ، هي لامرأة من محافظة "القليوبية" تبلغ من العمر (33) عاماً ، وحالتها الصحية حرجة . Was quoted by news agency MENA Wednesday, a ministry statement that the incidence of new human is a woman from the conservative "Qaliubiya" at the age of (33) years, and her condition is critical.
وأضاف البيان أن المرأة دخلت إحدى مستشفى القاهرة يوم أمس ، وهي تعاني من إرتفاع في درجة الحرارة وسعال وصعوبة في التنفس ، وذلك عقب تعرضها لطيور يشتبه في إصابتها بمرض انفلونزا الطيور . The statement added that the woman entered a hospital in Cairo yesterday, with a high temperature, cough and difficulty in breathing, and after exposure to birds suspected of being infected with bird flu.
وأشار البيان إلى إعطاء الحالة الجديدة عقار " التاميفلو " على الفور ، وحالتها الصحية حرجة ولازالت تتلقى العلاج في المستشفى . The statement also pointed to the new situation to give the drug "Tamiflu" immediately, and her health is precarious and is still receiving treatment in hospital.

It is worth noting that the governorate with the most human H5N1 cases in Egypt so far this year is Al Qaliubiyah. Six of the 22 Egyptian cases are from this governorate.

Egypt announces 36th bird flu death

Egypt announced Thursday its 36th death linked to the H5N1 virus, commonly referred to as avian or bird flu.

The 33-year-old victim, a woman from Qalyubiya, was hospitalized in Cairo Wednesday after experiencing a high fever and difficulty breathing. The Ministry of Health suspects she contracted the virus through contact with infected poultry.

The World Health Organization says Egypt ranks third globally in H5N1 documented cases. The majority of the cases in Egypt have come as the result of close contact with infected domestic poultry. Approximately five million Egyptian families depend on poultry as an important source of food and income.
