The Meselhiأعلن الدكتور علي المصيلحي، وزير التضامن الاجتماعي، عن إعادة فتح باب توريد القمح مرة أخري اعتباراً من أول سبتمبر المقبل لشراء أي كميات من الأقماح لدي المزارعين والمنتجين، الذين لم يتمكنوا من توريد أقماحهم خلال فترة فتح باب التوريد الأولي المنتهية ٢١ يوليو الماضي.

Meselhi added that the total quantities supplied during the period from April 15 until July 21 last amounted to two million and 511 thousand tons compared to about one million and 800 thousand tons during the same period last year, a rise of 40% مشيراً إلي أن الاحتياطي الاستراتيجي من القمح يكفي لمدة ٤ شهور ونصف الشهر حيث يوجد رصيد من القمح يصل إلي ٣ ملايين و٥٧٤ ألف طن، منها مليون و٣٧٤ ألف طن قمح محلي و٣٧١ ألف طن قمح مستورد وتعاقدات من القمح المستورد مليون و٨٢٩ ألف طن من المقرر أن ترد إلي البلاد خلال شهري أغسطس وأكتوبر.

He pointed out that the rise in prices of some production inputs such as seeds or fertilizers or pesticides did not affect the overall cost of production significantly, pointing out that estimates show that the rise in production requirements led to a rise in the cost ardebs wheat. وأشار إلي أن موسم توريد الذرة سيبدأ في الأول من أكتوبر المقبل، موضحاً أنه تقرر الالتزام بأن يكون سعر التوريد هو ٣٠٠ جنيه للأردب عند درجة رطوبة ١٢%، مشدداً علي أن الدولة تهدف من رفع أسعار توريد الذرة الحد من مخالفات الأرز والتدخل بشيء من التوازن في زراعة الأرز والذرة خاصة أن الأرز أكثر استهلاكاً للمياه.
