Bird Flu in Egypt Programs to combat bird flu in collaboration with the World Bank

Head of the General Organization for Veterinary Services, Dr. Hamed Samaha, said that in the framework of the national campaign against bird flu in collaboration with the World Bank, there are 22 programs that has been implemented to train veterinary doctors to the fight against this disease, including 6 training programs on fortifications and 8 programs on how to collect samples for laboratory examination as well as another 8 laboratory furniture vital programs for poultry farming.

He pointed out that 373 veterinary doctors, from the Veterinary departments in governorates and the veterinary services, were trained in the training centers, affiliated to the General Authority for Veterinary Services in Embaba, Srs Allian , Kafr El-Sheikh, Assiut, Mashtol market and the building of the companies.

Dr. Hamed Samaha said that Minister of Agriculture Amin Abaza, has approved the training plan in October and November that include 6 training programs to separate infected and dead birds and how to use disinfectants as well as 8 training programs on vital security and training programs on the computer to obtain an ICDL certificate in addition to training programs on guidance to veterinary care and vaccination of artificial reproductive and programs of the American University for the advancement of the English level among doctors and administrators.
