صرح الدكتور أحمد عبد الحميد، مدير الطب الوقائى بأسيوط، بأنه تم احتجاز 3 حالات جديدة مصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير بمستشفى الحميات ومستشفى الصدر بأسيوط، ليصل إجمالى الحالات إلى 5 حالات. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Hamid, Director of Preventive Medicine, Assiut, that was the detention of 3 new cases of swine flu, Fever Hospital and the Chest Hospital in Assiut, bringing the total cases, 5 cases.
وأشار إلى أن المصابين هم "و.ع.ف" (72 سنة- ربة منزل)، حى غرب أسيوط، و"ش.هـ.ح" (73 سنة- فلاح)، جزيرة الأكراد بمركز الفتح، و"ل. أ.س" (50 سنة- ربة منزل)، مركز أسيوط. He pointed out that people are "and. P. P" (72 years old - housewife), district west of Assiut, and "st. E. H" (73 years old - farmer), the island of Kurds, the status of the Conquest, and "for. A. x "(50 years old - housewife), Center of Assiut. وأشار إلى أن هناك أيضاً حالتين مشتبه بهما فى مستشفى جامعة أسيوط، ولم تظهر نتيجة التحاليل الخاصة بهما حتى الآن.
