أصيب طلاب مدرسة "الجذور" بمدينة نصر وأولياء أمورهم بحالة من الذعر بعد الإعلان عن إصابة طالبة بفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير بالمدرسة، بعد أن ظهرت أعراض المرض على إحدى الطالبات، الأمر الذى دفع ولى أمرها للذهاب لمستشفيات اليوم الواحد بمدينة نصر للتأكد من مدى إصابة ابنته بالفيروس، إلا أن نتيجة التحاليل ظهرت بعد 3 أيام وأثبتت إيجابية العينة. وطلبت المعامل فحص جميع الأسرة والمخالطين للطالبة للتأكد من مدى إصابتهم بالفيروس.
وقال ولى أمر الطالبة فى مداخلة هاتفية مع برنامج "القاهرة اليوم" مساء أمس، إنه أبلغ إدارة المدرسة لأخذ إجراءاتها، خاصة إن أخ الطالبة يدرس أيضاً فى نفس المدرسة، ولذلك قامت منى المصرى مديرة المدرسة بغلق فصل الطالبة والفصل الذى به أخوها، وكانت فى انتظار قرار الدكتور عبد العظيم وزير محافظ القاهرة بغلق المدرسة، إلا أن الدكتور عبد الرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمى باسم وزارة الصحة اضطر فى مداخلة هاتفية أخرى مع البرنامج إلى إعلانه غلق المدرسة على الهواء مباشرة، مبرراً ذلك بظهور أكثر من حالة فى أكثر من فصل وهو ما يستدعى الغلق ودون الانتظار لقرار المحافظ.
