Egypt announces bird flu vaccine production
Said an Egyptian official said Wednesday that an Egyptian counter to the vaccine virus, "HP 5 1", known as bird flu, will be available in Egyptian markets within five months.
Was quoted by state news agency MENA the official head of research team, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ali as saying that a bird flu vaccine produced from 100% Egyptian strain produced by a company specialized national.
He added that the new vaccine reached by a research team under his leadership a group of elite scientists is a Sisyphean task up to 3 times the imported vaccines.
