D said. محمد شعراوي مدير إدارة الطب البيطري بمحافظة 6 اكتوبر أن المديرية انتهت من تطهير حظائر الخنازير بعد إعدامها وتطهير المناطق بالفينول والذي يتضمن خليط الكلور والفنيك وسوف تقوم المديرية بحملة تطهير أخري بعد إزالة مقالب القمامة المنتشرة في البراجيل والمعتمدين والتي كانت تتغذي عليها الخنازير.

أشار مدير إدارة الطب البيطري إلي أن العينات التي تم أخذها من الأوز والبط والدجاج والتي كان يتم تربيتها في مزارع الخنازير وأثبتت التحاليل خلوها من الأمراض وقد تم تطعيم هذه الطيور.
