اعترف الدكتور إبراهيم الشاذلي مدير الأمراض المعدية بمديرية الصحة بالإسكندرية أن عدد الحالات التي أثبتت التحاليل إصابتها بأنفلونزا الخنازير بلغت 20 حالة داخل مستشفى حميات الإسكندرية.
وأكد مدير الأمراض المعدية في تصريحات لـ"المصري اليوم" أن الفيروس ينتشر بسرعة كبيرة بين المصطافين والريفيين، متوقعا زيادة نسبة الحالات المصابة خلال فترة الصيف؛ بسبب الزحام والاختلاط بين المواطنين.
وأشار الشاذلي إلى أنة يتم فصل الحالات المصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير عن الحالات المصابة بأنفلونزا الطيور أثناء عملية العلاج؛ حتى لا يحدث تزاوج بين الفيروسين، لافتا إلى أن عدم استعداد المريض نفسيا لتلقى العلاج من أهم المشاكل التي تواجه الأطباء حلال هذه الفترة.
