قرر المهندس سيد عبد العزيز محافظ الجيزة حظر تداول الطيور الحية بالاسواق والمحال وتكليف رؤساء الاحياء بتنظيم حملات علي الاسواق والمحال, وغلق أي محل يتم فيه ذبح وتداول الطيور الحية وضبط أي طيور حيه ونقلها الي محاجر الطب البيطري.

وقال المحافظ: ان هذا الاجراء يستهدف مواجهة مرض انفلونزا الطيور الذي ينشط فيروسه خاصة في ايام الشتاء الباردة. وكلف المحافظ رؤساء الاحياء بتنظيم محلات لازالة العشش فوق أسطح المنازل لتربية الطيور واقترح علي مديرية التضامن الاجتماعي اعداد دراسة حول امكانية تفويض الاسر التي تربي الدواجن في العشش المنزلية كمشروع تجاري لبيعها وتعتمد في دخلها علي تربية الدواجن. وأكد المحافظ خلال اجتماع مجلس تنفيذي المحافظة برئاسته ضرورة التعامل مع قضية انفلونزا الطيور بكل حسم.

وعلي جانب آخر وضعت مديرية الصحة بمحافظة حلوان خطة وقائية للتصدي لمرض انفلونزا الطيور تتضمن رصد الحالات المصابة والاكتشاف المبكر للمرض وكيفية التعامل عند ظهور بؤرة مرضية بين البشر, الي جانب خطة لتحريك المجتمع ورفع الوعي الصحي بالاضافة الي خط ساخن للرد علي استفسارات المواطنين في حالة الاصابة او الاشتباه في الاصابه بالمرض وهو25561588.

وأكد الدكتور عابد عبدالقادر مدير مديرية الصحة بالمحافظة ان خطورة مرض انفلونزا الطيور المصنف في القائمة الاولي وبائيا طبقا لتقديرات المكتب العالمي للاوبئه- فرضت اهتمام المديرية الكبير بهذا المرض الذي يسبب خسائر فادحة علي صحة الانسان والثروة الداجنة.. لذلك قامت المديرية بوضع خطة بدأت بتكوين فريق طبي علي أعلي مستوي للتعدي السريع علي مستوي المديرية لمجابهة هذا الفيروس شديد العدوي والسريع الانتشار.

وفي هذا الاطار يطرح مركز الاعلام والتعليم والاتصال بالهيئة العامة للاستعلامات مسابقة للصحفيين بالصحف القومية والاقليمية تحت عنوان الوقاية والمواجهة لمرض انفلونزا الطيور, وقال عادل عبد العليم رئيس الادارة المركزية لمكتب رئيس الهيئة ومدير المركز إن المسابقة تأتي في اطار حملة إعلامية متكاملة ينفذها المركز لتكثيف الجهود المبذولة في مجال المواجهة وتفعيل دور الصحف في زيادة الوعي الصحي بأساليب الوقاية والمكافحة وابراز تداعيات المرض علي الفرد والاسرة والمجتمع.
