Egypt: a new plan to fight bird flu

According to the Ministry of Health in Egypt that the country is witnessing a move to curb the spread of bird flu (H 1 The 5) after the recent increase in the number of casualties.

وسيتم حظر نقل وبيع الدواجن بين أي من محافظات مصر البالغ عددها 29 محافظة، كما تنظم وزارة الصحة حملة توعوية كبرى لتحذير الناس من أخطار تربية الدواجن في المنازل، حسب تصريح صابر جلال، نائب رئيس قسم الطب البيطري بوزارة الصحة لشبكة الأنباء الإنسانية (إيرين).​

وجاء في قوله أن "مرض أنفلونزا الطيور أصبح مستوطن في هذا البلد... ويخشى الآن من أن يتمكن الفيروس من أخذ أشكال أكثر خطورة في الأيام القادمة".​

وأفادت الوزارة أيضاً أنها ستتوقف عن تطعيم الطيور بعد أن ثبث عدم قدرة اللقاحات عن وقف انتشار الفيروس.​



The ministry also said it would depend on the vaccination of birds not yet been proven that the ability of vaccines to stop the spread of the virus.
وتعتبر مصر، التي شهدت 105 إصابة بأنفلونزا الطيور حتى الآن بما فيها 30 حالة وفاة، ثالث أكبر بلد متضرر من هذا المرض، وفقاً لمنظمة الصحة العالمية.​
