أعلنت وزارة الصحة، أمس، خروج أول حالة مصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير فى مصر من مستشفى حميات العباسية، بعد تماثلها تماماً للشفاء.​

كان مطار طابا قد استقبل الرحلة السياحية القادمة من التشيك، وأثناء الكشف على السياح تبين ارتفاع درجة حرارة أم وابنتيها إلى ٣٩ درجة مئوية فنقلن إلى مستشفى نويبع المركزى، وأرسلت عينات منهن لتحليلها فى معامل وزارة الصحة.​

وفى البحر الأحمر، قررت سلطات الحجر الصحى بمطار الغردقة احتجاز السائحة الروسية أوريجا بتسيا (٥٠ سنة) وابنها سيرجى انتوفيرب (١٧ سنة)، وفيكتوريا هيرنوفا (٩ سنوات) من سلوفاكيا، أمس، للاشتباه فى إصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وذلك بعد أن سجلت أجهزة المسح الحرارى بالمطار ارتفاع درجة حرارتهم، وتم نقلهم إلى مستشفى حميات الغردقة.​

وأفادت وزيرة الصحة الأسترالية ?نيكولا روكسون? بأن المرض سيظل يشكل أزمة خلال الشتاء المقبل والذى يليه رغم الجهود ?الماراثونية? للتعامل مع المرض فى البلاد ـ على حد قولها.​

According to the Australian Health Minister ?Nicola Roxon? that the disease will remain a crisis in the coming winter and the next, despite the efforts ?marathon? to deal with the disease in the country, it says.

كان باحثون فى المكسيك قد ذكروا فى تقرير لهم أن مسؤولى الصحة فى العالم استهانوا بالمخاطر التى تشكلها قطعان الخنازير كمصدر محتمل لسلالات جديدة للأنفلونزا، واختاروا التركيز على التهديد المتمثل فى أنفلونزا الطيور.​

Researchers in Mexico have said in a report to health officials in the world underestimated the dangers posed by herds of pigs as a potential source of new strains of influenza, and chose to focus on the threat posed by avian influenza.

على النقيض من ذلك أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية، أمس، أنها لن تتخذ قراراً برفع درجة التأهب إلى المرحلة السادسة، على الرغم من إصابة ٢٢ ألفاً على مستوى العالم.​

In contrast, the World Health Organization said yesterday that it would not take a decision to lift the alert level to phase VI, in spite of the 22 injured people in the world.
