رجحت المصادر الأمنية بمديرية أمن 6 أكتوبر وجود أربع حالات اشتباه بإصابة مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير.
صرحت المصادر ذاتها أنه أثناء توقيع الكشف الطبى على معسكر قوات الأمن بالمديرية تبين وجود أربع حالات مشتبه إصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير وهم: مدحت رمضان وأشرف عبد الرحمن وخالد محمود وفوزى محمد، حيث تم نقلهم إلى مستشفى حميات إمبابة لتوقيع الكشف الطبى عليهم وعمل التحاليل اللازمة لهم.
من جانب آخر، صرح الدكتور فتحى شبانة مدير مستشفى حميات إمبابة لليوم السابع أن المستشفى استقبل أربعة من معسكر مديرية أمن 6 أكتوبر بعد الاشتباه بإصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وبإجراء التحاليل والفحوصات اللازمة لهم، تبين أن الحالات الأربع إيجابية، إلا أننا تكمنا من السيطرة عليها وتم تعافى ثلاثة منهم وخرجوا فى الحال، بينما خرجت الحالة الرابعة بعد ساعات عقب التأكد من استكمال شفائها.
