ضبطت الأجهزة الأمنية بأكتوبر بالتعاون مع وزارة الصحة 159 دجاجة مصابة بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور بمحلين دواجن فى الحى الأول والثامن بمحافظة السادس من أكتوبر، تم إعدامها بمعرفة وزارة الصحة وتحرير محضر لأصحاب المحلات. Boktobr seized security services in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, 159 chickens infected with avian influenza in poultry Bmhalin Quarter I and VIII province, the sixth of October, was executed by the Ministry of Health and filed a report to the owners of the shops.

Is there any indication that this is in fact H5N1 virus or if it is instead some other variant? Thanks Twall.

Most likely h5n1 and they should have tested the birds.I don't see any other information about these birds.
