أكد الدكتور حسام الخطيب وكيل وزارة الصحة بالقليوبية أن مستشفى حميات بنها استقبلت اليوم الأحد الحالة السادسة المصابة بأنفلونزا الخنازير بالقليوبية. Dr. Hussam Al-Khatib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Balqlliopip (in qaliubiya) that Banha Fever Hospital received on Sunday the sixth case of infected swine flu Balqlliopip.

وأكد أن الحالة لطفل يبلغ من العمر عاما واحدا من مركز كفر شكر، مشيرا إلى أن باقى الحالات مطمئنة وفى تحسن مستمر، وأوضح أنه تم إعطاء الحالات عقار التاميفلو وبعض العقاقير الأخرى، وأن كل حالة لها معاملة خاصة. These six suspected cases seem to be swine flu. The continued references throughout the article about birds suggests that health officials in Egypt are unable to distinguish H1N1 infections from H5N1 infections based solely on symptoms and the correlation with sick and dying poultry. It may indicate that a milder form of H5N1 is circulating in Egypt that can only be distinguished from H1N1 by lab testing.
