احتجز مستشفى الأقصر الدولى 4 سياح يحملون الجنسية الأمريكية والأسترالية للاشتباه فى إصابتهم بأنفلونزا الخنازير.
كان السائح الأمريكى روبرت داونى البالغ من العمر 65 عاما وزوجته جيلا داونى البالغة من العمر 62 عاماً والسائح الأسترالى ليتا فيلا البالغ من العمر 44 عاما وزوجته هيفن ليتا البالغة من العمر 42 عاما قادمين من أسوان فى طريقهم إلى القاهرة، على متن قطار النوم رقم 83، حيث لاحظ رئيس القطار إصابتهم بارتفاع حاد فى درجة الحرارة، فأخطر الشرطة والأجهزة الصحية بالأقصر. وفور توقف القطار بمحطة الأقصر تم نقلهم إلى مستشفى الأقصر الدولى ووضعهم بقسم الحجر الصحى تحت رعاية طبية كاملة.
وقالت مصادر طبية، إن السياح الأربعة جرى احتجازهم بمستشفى الأقصر الدولى بعد ظهور أعراض مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير عليهم، وأنه تم أخذ عينات منهم وإرسالها إلى القاهرة لتحليلها، وبيان ما إذا كانوا مصابين بأنفلونزا الخنازير أم لا.

Shorter hospital held 4 international tourists with American and Australian nationality on suspicion of having bird flu in pigs.
The American tourist Robert Downey, aged 65 years, Downie and his wife, Gila, a 62-year-old Australian tourist Villa Lita, aged 44 years and his wife, Lita Haven 42-year-old from Aswan to Cairo on their way to board the sleeper train No. 83, as noted by the Chairman of the train, up sharply in their temperature, Voktr police and health agencies in Luxor. Once stopped the train station was transferred to Luxor Luxor International Hospital and placed under quarantine, the Department of medical care in full.
Medical sources said that the four tourists were detained Luxor International Hospital after an outbreak of swine flu symptoms to them, and that samples were taken and sent to Cairo for analysis, and indicate whether they were infected with swine flu or not.
