أعلن الدكتور عبد الرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمى لوزارة الصحة اكتشاف 17 إصابة جديدة بفيروس إيه (إتش 1 إن1) المعروف عالميا باسم أنفلونزا الخنازير، لترتفع بذلك الحالات إلى 255 فى مصر، مشيرا إلى شفاء 167 ووفاة حالة، فيما يتلقى الباقون العلاج بالمستشفيات وهم 87 حالة، وحالتهم الصحية جيدة.
وأوضح أن حالات اليوم، الخميس، الـ 17 منهم 14 مصريا، 3 قادمون من السعودية وحالة من إندونيسيا، و3 قادمون من بريطانيا، وحالة من الصين، وحالتان من إندونيسيا، و3 حالات مخالطة لحالات إيجابية، وحالة غير مرتبطة وبائيا بحالات إيجابية، أما الثلاث حالات الأخرى فهى لسعوديين قادمين من السعودية، وكويتى قادم من الكويت.
أشار شاهين إلى أنه تم حجز جميع الحالات بالمستشفيات، وإعطاؤهم العلاج المناسب وحالتهم الصحية مستقرة، موضحا أنه تم فحص 61 حالة اشتباه بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير و 22 بأنفلونزا الطيور وجاءت نتائج التحاليل سلبية.
