وفى القليوبية، احتجز مستشفى حميات بنها محمود عرفة السيد ?١٦ سنة? طالب بمعهد الصم والبكم والطفلة مى إبراهيم حسنى ?٣ سنوات ونصف? للاشتباه فى إصابتهما بالمرض.

وفى سوهاج، شدد المحافظ اللواء محسن النعمانى على إعدام جميع الطيور فى أى بؤر يثبت وجود المرض بها فى دائرة الكيلو متر مربع بالمحافظة ودفع التعويض الفورى لأصحابها.
