A number of deputies of the Health Committee in the House of Representatives criticized the state of blackout imposed by the Ministry of Health on what was described as "mysterious virus" in the Shubra Al-Kheima area,

and revealed by the media in mid-March, despite the occurrence in February.
This came during a meeting of the Health Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, today, to discuss the requests for a briefing by MPs Thuria Sheikh and Nidal Al-Saeed on a mysterious virus in the Shubra Al-Kheima, which resulted in the death of three cases of two families and wounding 11 others.
MP Mohammed al-Amari, head of the committee, said that the Ministry of Health had to initiate the declaration of data in this regard so as to provide reassurance instead of the panic that hit the citizens.
He added that this is not an epidemic, but a focus is unknown, and there is a term in medicine called heat is not known source, and this scientific miracle is not everything we will know.
For his part, MP Majdi Morshed, head of the committee, praised the performance of the preventive medicine sector, but he attacked the lack of communication with the media in this regard to clarify the truth, as we are approaching the stage of "the most dangerous possible."

"The blackout is not in the favor of the government or the deputies .. And Benichel problem in the end and Mfish not only 3 ministers but most ministers lack the popular and political sense."

The committee's deputy, Ayman Abu Ala, said that the ministry should have notified the health committee, which in turn would have communicated with the citizens and the media.
Ahmed Tahawi, member of the Committee, said that despite the efforts of the Ministry of Health so far, it did not reach the mystery of the virus and reveal its ambiguity.
