The Idaho Health Department is still encouraging people to get their H1N1 shots. There is concern this Spring that a second round of the H1N1 virus will continue, and that children also need a second dose of the vaccine.
Anita Ridlehoover was healthy and thriving. It didn't occur to her that in a days time, she'd be in the hospital fighting for her life.
Last year, working at the animal shelter in Pocatello, Anita Ridlehoover was healthy, happy and had a head full of long hair.
Anita Ridlehoover: "When I went to the hospital I had long hair, I mean down to my waist."
Fast forward to 2010, after falling severely ill with H1N1, Anita is just finishing rehab, which taught her to walk again. She lost 35 pounds, and also lost her long locks.
