At least 25 percent of the 922 confirmed cases of people infected with influenza virus AH1N1 in the state, are reported to correspond to the Lagunera region of Durango.

Armando El?as Mu?oz Torres, coordinator of Health Jurisdiction areas number 2 in Gomez Palacio, explained that the latest data released by the Ministry of Health show that 236 cases are in La Laguna de Durango.
