Ixtapan de la Sal, Mex .- The Secretary of Health Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos, announced that during the last week fell by 28 percent the number of reported cases of the many types of flu, with respect to that reported on 14 January past.

Thus, the official stressed that in recent days have been down the cases of multiple types of influenza, secondary preventive measures and prompt attention by health authorities.

"This week we had a reduction in the number of cases by 28 percent over the previous week, was having a consistent increase but this week began to fall, this week there have been no deaths from H1N1 influenza have in fact been very few cases directly caused by the influenza, "he said in an interview after participating in the 2011 Industrial Annual Meeting.

Within the event, organized by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers (Concamin) Cordova Villalobos said no alarm whatsoever for respiratory diseases associated with cold, since the observed cases respond to the recurrent cases seen in previous years.

The official considered it appropriate to be clear about the type of influenza cases observed during the last days, in order to avoid unnecessary false scares.
