I don't know the science involved, but:
if survivor plasma was collected now, even in small amounts, could that be used to produce the antibodies/whatever in other plain plasma?
I know the virus is changing, so it may all be moot, anyway, but if survivors of the deadliest strains so far were tapped, could that in anyway be multiplied, or is that just Imaginary Medicine?

Thanks for the information and the cited literature from Dr. Osterholm. If there is going to be a "silver bullet" to prevent the next pandemic, it will take people like Dr. Osterholm and Dr. Niman who are thinking outside the box and staying up late.

K.C., there are indeed very stubborn person in the field that will keep on trying to find some solutions for this problem. As already seens in the last few years, nothing stops them to pursue their quest, and nothing will, I believe.
The silver bullet as you call it might be at the beginning be like a mixture of numerous interventions, but who knows, maybe with this informations sharing we will witness the rise of this silver bullet that so many works very hard to get.
Again I would like to express my gratitude to those stubborn researchers that keep on going against the wind and tides.
