اكد مساعد وزير الصحة ان ان اكثر من 13 الف رائدة ريفية تقوم على نشر التوعية داخل القرى للوقاية من مرض انفلونزا الطيور حيث وصل معدل زيارتهم المنزلية فى اليوم الواحد الى اكثر من 50 الف منزل مشير الى ان الاكتشاف المبكر للمرض ادى الى عدم وفاة اى اصابة اعلن عنها عام 2009 .
وقال الدكتور نصر السيد فى برنامج صباح الخير يا مصر صباح السبت ان عددا من الدول ليس لها رصد حقيقى ودقيق للمرض كما يوجد تعتيم اعلامى ومنها الصين واندونيسيا .
واوضح مساعد وزير الصحة ان هذه الحالات التى اكتشفت جاءت بسبب سرعة التبليغ بعد نجاح حملات التوعية لدى سيدات الريف الا انه اكد ان الجهود المحلية يجب ان تتضاعف لتعريف السيدات بخطورة اختلاط الاطفال بالدواجن .
واضاف السيد ان اللجنة الخاصة بمرض انفلونزا الطيوربرئاسة وزير التنمية المحلية والتى تضم مسؤولين من وزارة الصحة والهيئة البيطرية والزراعة والاعلام تجتمع كل شهر ويمكن حسب الحاجة تجتمع كل اسبوع واكد انها تتابع الموقف عن قرب وتحدد تحركاتها حسب تواجد المرض .
وذكر المسؤول الصحى ان السماح باستئناف متاجر الدواجن الذبح هو لعدم قدرة طاقة مجازر الدواجن على توفير كميات الدجاج التى تحتاجها سوق الاستهلاك بمصر وتم فى المقابل السيطرة على مصادر بيع الدواجن الحية لهذه المتاجر بالكشف البيطرى والتحصين .
واكد ان فيروس انفلونزا الطيور يبدأفى تخفيض نشاطه مع ارتفاع درجة الحرارة فى شهور الصيف الا ان امتداد الشتاء هذا العام ساعد على استمرار الشكوى منه .
ونصح السيدات بعدم ذبح الطيور المصابة والتخلص منها فورا حيث يمكن نقل العدوى اثناء الذبح وخاصة للاطفال دون الخامسة .
