ECDC is today hosting Dr Isaac Weisfuse, Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Disease Control of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

The presentation focus on how the public health authorities responded to the outbreak of Influenza A(H1N1)v in New York City and is part of ECDC efforts to promote learning processes based on international practice.

Dr Weisfuse holds an academic position at Columbia University and is Associate Professor of Clinical Public Health of Epidemiology at Mailman School of Public Health.

that video crashed my computer badly after ~1/3, when I wanted
to save a graph from NYC.
I prefer transcripts or webpages over videos.

He was talking about St.Francis

no similar such rapid outbreak.
Makes me wonder whether it was all h2h respiratory or
maybe ventilation system, teaching of an infected person ...

They must have figured out who had started the spread, but
I never read about it
