نفى اللواء توفيق عبد الحميد سكرتير عام محافظة حلوان فى تصريح خاص لليوم السابع صدور أى قرار من محافظ حلوان بخصوص إعدام الطيور الموجودة بالمحافظة وتعويض أصحابها، مشيرا إلى أن الوضع حاليا مستقر ولا توجد ضرورة قصوى لإعدامها موضحا انه يتم التعامل مع الطيور عن طريق تحصينها وتفعيل قرار رئيس مجلس الوزراء بحظر نقل وتداول الطيور الحية داخل المدينة أو خارجها وإغلاق المحلات التى تبيع الطيور الحية وقصر البيع على الطيور المجمدة فقط.
ومن جانبه أكد الدكتور حازم القويضى محافظ حلوان أن خطة الحكومة المصرية لمواجهة أنفلونزا الطيور خطة متكاملة ومصر من أقل الدول فى عدد الوفيات، ولكن توطن المرض جاء نتيجة للتربية المنزلية والتى تعد عائقا كبيرا أمام جميع محافظات مصر، موضحا أن التوعية أهم بكثير من حملات التفتيش والتى يصعب تنفيذها على المنازل.

Denied, General Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, secretary general of Helwan governorate in an exclusive statement to the seventh day of the issuance of any decision of the Governor of Helwan regarding culling and compensation to existing owners to maintain, adding that the situation is currently stable and there is no absolute necessity for the execution, adding that he is dealing with the birds vaccinated by the decision to activate the President of the Council of Ministers to ban the transfer and handling of live birds within and outside the city and the closure of shops selling live poultry and to limit the sale of frozen birds only.
For his part, Dr. Hazem Alqweidy HELWAN governor that the Egyptian government's plan to combat bird flu plan in an integrated and Egypt in the least number of deaths, but the disease is endemic is the result of domestic breeding, which is a major impediment to all the governorates of Egypt, pointing out that the awareness campaigns is far more important than the inspection, which difficult to implement at home.
