Thirty-six people died in 829 malaria cases recorded in the last week of December, in the Yalimbongo health zone in territory of Basoko (Tshopo).

The administrator of the territory of Basoko Balthazar Angali gives figures of the last week of 2015:

"Zero Children to eleven months, 48 cases were recorded in health facilities, including six deaths. [For children] twelve months fifty-nine months: 318 cases including 17 deaths. From five years of age and 368 cases with 13 deaths. Total: 829 cases were recorded, including 36 deaths. "
